Error Message:
If you are experiencing crashing in SketchUp and encounter a message that says it's a "Driver State Error" or "Hardware acceleration is unsupported or has been disable on your GPU", try these steps to update your Graphics settings in SketchUp:
- Open SketchUp.
- Go to Window > Preferences > Graphics.
- In the Graphics Card dropdown menu, select your AMD or Nvidia card.
- Restart SketchUp to apply the changes
Here is an example of where you select AMD or Nvidia card from the drop down.
