What the SketchUp AI Assistant can do
The AI Assistant is designed to speed up your workflow and support you while you design. It can:
- Generate 3D objects from either text prompts or images
- Answer your SketchUp questions through an interactive chatbot
- Help troubleshoot issues in your model
- Provide guidance, instructions, and best‑practice tips to help you achieve the results you want
What the AI Assistant cannot do
While powerful, the AI Assistant isn’t a full modelling engine and can’t:
- Generate complete, full‑scale building models
- Create documents, update your files, or edit your models directly for you
How the AI Assistant fits into your workflow
The SketchUp AI Assistant isn’t meant to replace modelling—it’s here to accelerate the parts of your workflow you don’t want to spend time on, such as creating quick visual placeholders, conceptual objects for landscapes, or early‑stage design ideas. Think of it as a helpful companion that gets you to the creative part faster.
How to access SketchUp AI Assistant?
